Eh, I think Battlebond demonstrates they're willing to reprint the casual staples even if that's not the case for Modern and Legacy cards. Doubling Season, Land Tax, Seedborn Muse, Mycosynth Lattice and a few others that were creeping up.

I've played Chandra, Firebrand before but she eventually got cut for being a bit underpowered.

Perhaps "build-arounds" is a better term than "single card archetypes", but at that point it's just semantics really. I think we're all on the same page here.

I haven't run it yet but I think it'll be in for my next draft: Hardened Scales Although it kind of goes with Abzan Falconer and Reyhan, Last of the Abzan so maybe it's not strictly a single card archetype.

You could use a Vanguard, just looking quickly Barrin gives +6 life and doesn't affect hand size. Just agree not to use the avatar power.

Delver also suffers from the much higher land counts you tend to have in limited. If you look at RUG Delver in legacy, it plays 18-19 lands in a 60 card deck; if you're playing 17 in your 40 card deck that's about a 10% increase. You'd need to run a 12-13 land deck to get the same ratio, which...

1W 2/2 Lifelink is alright in an aggressive deck and it has some pretty good upside in the late game. Think about using it to rebuy Lightning Bolt in RW aggro. It's also much better than usual in the aggro mirror.

It's been pretty rare that it's been anything other than a 2/2 Lifelink, but even just giving lifelink to one or two burn spells puts it above curve, and if you ever manage to activate the ability it's a pretty big game. I like it pretty well. It's also a Human if you support that.

I haven't cubed it myself but I believe lots of people like Mask of Memory. There's also Mortarpod, which I do like as a powered down version of Goblin Bombardment. For counterspells, maybe Memory Lapse?
