In a typical cube draft deck, you'll play 23 spells and 17 lands. That means your deck is going to be 42.5% land. Therefore if you're not playing at least 42.5% lands in your cube total, you're not running enough lands.
That's just maths!
I don't think any of the Scars block draft formats were "good" due to many insane 6 mana rare bombs and the problems that infect caused, but man, I loved it for some reason, especially Scars/Besieged.
The first deck I remember building myself was beast tribal with the mono combo of multiple Wirewood Savages and my one Anurid Brushhopper to kind of draw cards very slowly.
I also had a black control deck with False Cure to counter the heavy Noble Purpose/Worship metagame.

I feel like we had about 10 from here? Maybe slightly less.
I did see a WotC employee on twitter say that they couldn't respond to each submission individually to confirm because there were too many to do so, I'm not sure how many that would be though.

From people who hang around on Reddit or wherever else cube is discussed, does anyone have any feel for how many entrants we might expect? I haven't really seen anything on a glance over at MTGSalvation but I could easily be looking in the wrong place.
Really pleased with how this one came out. First two picks were LED and Salvagers, but finding good ways to win with them was a bit of a puzzle.

You could just wait until you're ready to play Lab Maniac and draw from empty library all in one, and as all the removal is sorcery speed exiling stuff there's nothing your opponent can do?
