It's good but not insane. I'd say Brimaz is better. Give it a shot

I've had a soft spot for blade splicer ever since it was released

I was like "Oh red murder, cool.", but it hits planeswalkers, and yeah. I probably do want red Hero's Downfall

Shit man. Echoed. I've heard a lot of things back and forth about WotC being a bad place to work and being very VERY anti envelope (Jeff Hoogland speaks about this a lot), but there's a ton here I didn't know (Well duh they're trying to keep it hidden) Uh, if anyone liked slay the spire and...

Absolutely, the card just still might not be worth playing

My gut says no, but 1 mana is a lot better than 2. IIRC from last time I checked I kinda wanted "Sacrifice a creature or pay 2" like effect, since it was just dead a decent amount of the time, even with aristocrats as the archetype of choice

Don't get me wrong, I love the 2/1 on dauntless as well, but there is cost in that you have to play it after something you want to protect, where as benevolent bodyguard/doggo here don't have that restriction. After that you get to ask do I want dog to protect from sweepers or benevolent...

Honestly while I know Questing Beast has his misgivings, I look fondly on the card. It was surprisingly fair in standard. Eminently killable, and not fully dodging but making akward a lot of the things that would make playing an "expensive" green creature a bad idea. So maybe I'm willing to...

UBB? UUB? Is that going to make a lick of difference? :P

Man 2 mana 3/1s have gotten so good. Anyone remember when we were debating between Accorder paladin and Daring Skyjek? We landed on skyjek because sometimes, occasionally, somehow he survives a turn This is no Adanto vanguard but that's probably a good thing

Freya's suggustion was to bump the mana cost actually, so that makes sense

    General Custom Cards: The Lab

This card is so outside of my wheelhouse that I don't know what to comment, but it looks sweet! Friend of mine has a madness cube brewing, I'll send this their way

I was running Pawn of Ulamog back in the day as a way of doubling up on dies triggers. It was a little too win more, but threatening a 5 power flier might be a better angle Also more Mayhem Devil synergy!
