Bouncing 4 of your own permanents is a big ask though. I think if I want a 6 mana sweeper like this, considering it's implications as a ramp spell, especially in a format as fast as mine, probably not actually going to move the needle at all :P And yeah upheval is too much :P

Thinking more about flood of tears, mini fight club: vs Rivers Rebuke vs Cyclonic Rift I was initially excited for flood, but I've never really been happier with the other two, and making it weaker doesn't really fix that.

Yes, but your command zone is an extension of your hand, where your graveyard isn't. Hell, a ton of mechanics and sets exist to emulate that connection :P

This probably depends on the speed of the cube. If it's fast enough that no regular midrange deck is ever hitting 8 mana without investment, then they might be poisonous. If games are ending on turns 5-6, it's narrow because the only way it's hitting play is with heavy ramp or heavy control...

It is time to retire Aristocrats. Sad to see something that's been part of my cube since day 1 leave, but it's been a tough nut to crack. As my format gets more and more fair over time, the endless supply of 2/1s offered by black is becoming a real issue for the rest of the archetypes...
