I'm looking for some repeatable discard outlets. Preferably, I would like things that you can activate at any time you would like during a turn like Merfolk Looter or Noose Constrictor. They don't need to be effects that can be activated multiple times in the same turn.

I'm a pretty big fan of the classic: Drake Haven+Psychatog It's not infinite but going T3 Tog--> T4 Haven, Make a Drake,--> T5 Make More Drakes is pretty satisfying.

It's just a weird effect. I honestly don't even think it feels very blue.

I think "boring" is the correct answer for this guy. It's just a stats monster that can run away with a game without any substance save for some tokens/blink support. I think it's too hard to do anything cool with as far as cube is concerned.

Yeah but theres a certain point when something being functional is more important than it being interesting. Adapt needed to function with the rest of it's set, not be an interesting take on counters matter. Even if this mechanic is just a new version of level up/adapt/monstrous, I doubt it...
