I feel like it had roughly the same number as Dragons of Tarkir, except they're at lower rarities.

@Brad turns out, when you’re expecting a ton of slam-dunk 3-color cards and dragons, but then you only get two dragons which are sort of ok enough to be comfortable calling long-term material and two three color cards that are both themselves callbacks to older cards, the set feels light!

I have no idea, to be honest. I don't think it would be any better than the Mice abominations that are currently everywhere in Standard, even if it would have a higher floor than Heartfire Hero. Red just doesn't have a lot of interesting two-power one-drops, which is a bit of a disappointment...
