No, it's not too mean in midrange since it's literally just a 3/3 that very occasionally comes back to play from the bin. No, it's not worth it specifically for aggro madness either. You might sometimes be able to bring it back occasionally, but I think most of the time it just ends up as a...

Although there really aren't a lot of good 2-cost discard creatures, Rat isn't one of them because it takes over the game. If you want the discard for Madness, then Heir of Falkenrath is a good option since it's a free outlet which gives you upside. If you want the discard for a Drake...

    General Fight Club

Experiment One and Pelt Collector are almost the same card in my opinion. Pelt Collector has the ability to get a little bigger in the average game thanks to death triggers but Experiment One's regeneration is nice to have against other aggro decks. Pelt Collector is a bit more flexible, but...

Well that sucks. It looked like it could have added a bit of a fun dynamic to the game. What do you guys think of this: Necromancer's Covenant This looks like a fine midrange/control finisher.

I've tried doing the whole Hero thing before, and trust me when I say that it doesn't work very well in practice. The only two heroes that are always a bare minimum of "fine playables" are Feather, the Redeemed and Fabled Hero. That's it. And they're only "good" for the bodies, with their heroic...

Saddled Rimestag is easy to make crash in as a 4/4 every turn. Longtusk Cub trades with a random utility bear and makes your aggro drafter sad. Look at the "Damage to players" curve for these two: Saddled Rimestag-> 4, 8, 12, 16, 20 Longtusk Cub-> 2, 5, 9, 14, 20 Both take the same amount...

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

I've looked at Slitherhead before, but I never wanted to devote a slot to it. A 1/1 for 1 with no on-board abilities is usually hard to justify including. Wether or not you can play it really depends on how often it is just a madness card with {0}: Put a +1/+1 counter on a dude. Scavenge as a...

Crawlspace This card seems like it could be good at slowing down aggro decks without completely shutting them down. I'm just not sure if it lets too much get through the cracks or not. Is this playable?

I wrote an entire piece about fatties last summer.

It's strong but far from too good in an environment with a reasonable power level. As long as your drafters can kill it, it's not an issue. Nightmare Shepherd is only an issue in retail limited because the removal is so bad.

    Dom's Stream of Consciousness

I've been drafting your cube a bunch on Cube Cobra. I don't know if I'll have time to do a full writeup like I did for Alphez's cube but I have been leaving little comments in my draft decks. The one thing I will say right here is that green feels kind of weak without heavy support from a second...

That's really the only place I can see Arcbound Ravager being worthwhile. If you can proliferate counters or hardened scales the +1/+1 counters you are adding from sacking, then ravager is ok. Otherwise, it's just a 2-mana Sparring Construct. I'd still buy a copy of Arcbound Ravager though...
