I figured out the issue- the "Beleren" font and one other font weren't actually included with the download I got for templates. I installed them to the Windows XP emulator I'm using and now everything works fine. I'll show some designs at a later date...

Massacre is only free if two very specific conditions are met. I'd hardly call that too good. I think once is only too powerful in the context of some constructed formats. It's perfectly reasonable in Cube and EDH.

Probably Ravager because it lets players draw more cards from an empty hand.

Update: The mad men banned Leyline of Abundance because they "think Nykthos could help add future diversity to the format." There goes my 3 dollars :rolleyes:... Also, Felidar Guardian and Oath of Nissa got banned too. I still want a Teferi ban, but there's always next week!

Order of Midnight in the powered cube gives me happy feels.

It's Magic from the underworld escaping for a moment using a spellcaster as a conduit. It's less a case of the spell returning from the dead and more of underworld magic escaping to the overworld.

A bunch more common cards got leaked- it looks like escape will appear on some instant and sorcery spells! I'm not sure Wotc will be foolish smart enough to put some sort of card filtration effect on an escape spell, but I really hope they do! Repeatable flashback is the best flashback...

Do you have room for both? I think these are both sweet in a black cube! If not, then I think Molderhulk is probably the better option since you get a land when it ETBs, meaning that it's inevitable death to removal nets you something.

I'd actually be happy if they ban Nykthos because then I wouldn't need to spend an extra 100 bucks to make a green-based ramp deck. Knowing WOTC they'll do something dumb and ban the Llanowar Elves variants or the Leyline. I still think Teferi, Time Raveler should be banned- he makes control...

The next planeswalker to have 2 + abilities was Nissa Revane in Zendikar the year after Elspeth was printed. However, one of Nissa's plus abilities was just a tutor effect for a bad creature. The next time a "real" planes walker with two + abilities would be printed was Ajani, Mentor of Heroes...

I can say from experience that this card's not all that great- really none of the retreats are. Retreat to Emeria is probably the closest one to cubability for me from a gameplay perspective.
