Finally we get some really cool designs in. This one is great, because it's, almost like Gleeful Demolition, a modal card without a list. It can safe your important creature for just one mana, win a combat in the midgame or be a finishing move in the late game. Sweet.

That's why my golden formula is good card draw and smoothing with humble, old school creature stats. So games don't turn into decision low non-games but you don't get punished for stumbling as hard either!

It seems to be the case, actually. Looking it up on scryfall, Tarfire is a "Instantáneo tribal" in spanish. So there is a very real chance, that "battle" is a new spell type. But how could it possibly work?
