What is it with people thinking NWO relates to powerlevel when its expicitly about complexity. There is nothing functionally complex about there being a card that draws you 3 and costs less by removing cards from the graveyard.

I suppose these are more sneak peeks than anything else. So the time travel thing seems more to be like some sort of looking-back magic where sarkhan makes some decision rather than tardis travel. Alternate time lines sounds cool.

I think its a consequence of the complexity layer of defining the interaction by two arbitrary players air tight.

But isnt that really strong argument for there not being any play to it? Like its literally top deck it and your back? (the fact that you have to maneuver to 7 mana aside)

I think that largely depends on what the other decks on the cube are doing. Maybe build a dream list for a pretend-drafted list and play it vs some 3-0 decks too see how the cards play out? Like if the cards play out really well there can be ab incentive to draft the deck.
