We're talking about SirFunchalot's cube. He himself have mentioned those cards are in. I'm simply drawing examples from his examples. However it doesn't matter really which cards we use as examples. I just had to mention some. If we have a Blood Crypt in a fetch-heavy cube, we might as well...

A Temur deck splashing Blood Crypt in a fetch-heavy cube might just as well splash a few good payoff cards like Demonic Tutor and Mind Twist anyways. And voila, 4-color deck enabled.

That is how reprints function. No matter the format. And I agree that it is to sell packs. It’s just an odd choice. They could have done the Pre-Modern frame in literally any other set and it would make better sense than in the Modern set :)

I find it ironic that set ‘Modern Horizons 2’ includes the card frame that the format ‘Modern’ specifically was designed to not include: The pre-Modern card frame.

But in Strixhaven, Wizards expect several players to be in Prismari colors. At least one player but most likely two or three. In Strixhaven often there is a 4 or 5-color player, there are always some 3-color players but most players will be 2-color. The way I read your comment is you most often...

To everyone above me: Yes but Bring to Light demands more than just two-colors, right? In a two-color deck it is a 5 mana tutor for a very small spell. In three-color I would probably still not run it. This should in theory mean that even in SirFunchalot’s cube, the card is bad in 7 out of 8...

Remember how we all agree that two-colored cards are difficult to add to a cube because not many players around the table is going to want that specific two-color card? Seeing a Bloodbraid Elf as the 15’th pick is the norm in most cubes according to what I’ve read on this page. Isn’t Bring to...

I actually like the wording. It is new design space and that makes it super interesting. The only reason why we dislike it is because we’re used to almost the same wording with a whole other meaning. And this can be confusing because people will sometimes miss what the card actually does. Big...

I don’t think this forum has any policy on such matters :) Someone correct me if I am wrong. We not only have a custom thread for home made cards. We also make our custom rules for our formats. And we even have an alter thread where some alterations are ‘just’ customs. I think you should be...

I respect that. I also have no quarrels with including cards like Silver border, playtest, conspiracies etc. I haven’t found any good use for the Theros Hero cards or the Vanguard cards, yet :p Is there any way I could get you to upload a picture (taken with your phone or whatever) here of your...

Do you run Inzerva, Master of Insights as a proxy? I believe Inzerva doesn’t display because it isn’t legal in any sanctioned format. I could be wrong though.

That's not the issue. The cards mentioned has a different mana cost than the ones Urza gets.

No. That's why I said it didn't get those cards :) It only gets cards with cost 0 or 1. Not mana value 0 or 1.

Of those cards, Urza's Saga only gets Everflowing Chalice and Bonesplitter.
