It's interesting how our cubes feel very different, despite they're both peasant cubes crafted from the same (very) limited card pool. I can only recommend drafting and playing this one, it's quite the ride!

All said is true, but I want to note that we're still talking of potential upsides on a colorless bear. If you're cube's powerlevel is low enough, that this is an okay enough baseline for curving out, I think the card has some potential. Just like Gingerbrute, Vault Skirge or Spined Thopter it...

With sagas and artifact creatures in the set, I wonder if historic will be in. It fits with the flavor of old vs. new and og kamigawa had a legends theme too.

Well, you are not wrong. Maybe the fact that it is former Kamigawa, the more cgi art style or the holographic thing on his arm make this feel a little more extreme to me. But I'll do my best to get comfortable with this new old world.

I really like the dea flavor wise. Would you strive to have the nonlands cards to fit into the flavor (even if they're non-snow) or don't you mind that? And do you already have a list or something concrete by now?

With some time over the holydays, I totally reworked my arena cube, and it's become much more ravnic-ish as a result. It has more themes (including madness!), is more thorough and I reduced the multicolor focus a little bit. There is still great fixing and such, though, so no worries...

There is a Bx reanimator theme and even larger madness support in all nonwhite colors. But I don't think that either deck would really want the Elite. It's too slow and not great in those decks, which tend to only run a handful of spells most of the time. So the looting wouldn't be much more...
