Hm, in a ramp deck you get a 2/4 for 3, which is a fine blocker, and if you have the mana it can ramp you eot. And the second ability is goo as well. Maybe it's worth a shot as a gruul ramp card in lower powered lists?

You're right. You can usually justify a tapped land and they mostly have late game abilities as well. It's just akward that they have double pips of the color you are most likely splashing for them.

How many actual reanimation spells would one want in a cube deck? I am talking lower power, so the goal would be to cast Dread Return or Beacon of Unrest on curve. Could anyone give an estimation who has more experience with that archetype than me (greater than 0)?

I totally agree with your ranking. Eldraine and Kaldheim are just beyond beautiful. I even prefer them to the old frames. I wish they would just create a new standard fram that takes some lessons from Eldraine and Kaldheim. The current one is just bland and has too many different round shapes...
