No, Threatens are fine if they last until end of turn. People don't really forget to give back the creature at end of turn. I think I currently run Eriette's Tempting Apple. I used to have Yasova Dragonclaw, but I don't know if that's still there.

Minsc and Boo, Timeless Heroes This card is consistently excellent in high power cubes, and fun to play with. Obviously there's the annoying commander trinket text, but he hits like a truck!

I cut all steal effects from my cube when I realized it is pre-sleeved, so players can’t tell apart their cards. It’s so easy to accidentally shuffle up one of your opponent’s cards after the game.

Honestly, a WB hybrid Fumigate would rock my world!

I am down to only five out of 450! I found that in a lower power environment, including too many planeswalkers leads to superfriends decks that are hard to combat on value. Even something as innocuous as a Kaya, Ghost Assassin proved to be hard to deal with for the other decks.

Having witnessed AK battles in Standard first hand, the first one to crack and cast an AK for a single card is almost always the one who loses. “Who can keep their AK’s in hand the longest” is a real thing and not a particularly fun mini game

In general, a 4/5 flyer for five is vastly superior to a 5/6 nonflyer for six. I don’t think the fact that the Kraken stuns on any land is going to make up for that difference.

Personally I like supporting aggro to keep the format honest. Also, I quite like drafting 16 land Boros decks ;) However, I think it’s perfectly valid to eschew particular archetypes if done with intent! Especially if you have a fixed playgroup with a preferred play style. For example, if you...
