I could put arcane savant in my cube list and it would probably be a healthy addition.
idk it's kind of a dumb card, but it's a draft-only card so I think that's perfectly fine, if it has any adverse effects on the game it's because you elected to put it into your cube, or if the original draft...
I don't really see... what you like about it? I don't think it emphasizes the motion very well, the dinosaur appears to be doing it entirely by accident, but it doesn't make sense for me for the tail to swipe form that position unless it was twisting its body. The sword is just like, hanging in...
okay, combed through the text file, cards I care about so far:
Cult Conscript (recursive black savannah lion)
Gravecrawler variants are a dime a dozen by now. I like this one slightly more than Bloodsoaked Champion because it presents more of a deckbuilding puzzle than a gameplay one, and fits...
I don't like read ahead. The mechanic itself is fine, and I will probably play some of them because I'm desperate for more sagas, but I don't expect players to read the top of the card that is usually just a bunch of reminder text (and is still for the most part just reminder text). Seems very...
They're not, for the most part. Incarnation is just a subtype they give to elementals that are "incarnations of a concept". Onslaught first started with Valor and his bros, Lorwyn continued with Purity etc, and MH2 had the third go-around with Solitude and such.
I like Mirrorshell Crab for being a lower variance reanimation target. It doesn't dominate the game as much when you get it into play, but you also don't get hosed as hard by removal spells.
Plus I personally kind of struggle to find counterspells I want to cube and crab helps shore up blue's...
disclaimer: I'm the mean judge on the talent show you're watching, don't take it too personally if my comments lean negative, not only are sagas hard to design well, I also just generally don't have it in me to dig up something nice to say unless I am genuinely impressed
feel free to challenge...
While I would recommend spelling it out for sake of clarity, the card does actually put the creature into play under your control as currently written.
yes
But I also understand that people obtain some form of satisfaction by operating within constraints, even though there's probably a lot of cube designers whose motivation for making rarity restricted cubes I would question.
Faldorn, Dread Wolf Herald
The actual commander decks were not the most exciting, this card is the only one I am debating. I like her low floor and her high ceiling, she works great with adventures, rebound, and red's typical way of drawing cards, and she's completely obscene with madness cards...
Considering the numbers are 9, 9, 11, 12, 13, it's more like Abzan and Temur got the short end of the stick, somehow. Abzan also has the fewest cards that are tri-colored, so there truly is no justice in this world.
