I was leaning the other way, since splashing with basic lands (which is essentially the fixing power of Moxen) is quite bad. Bear with me, obviously you run all five Moxen, and you run them instead of lands (unlike, say, Mox Diamond, which counts as a spell). That means you have 11-12 lands...

I think Merchant of the Vale is likely better, and Dismissive Pyromancer might be. It does have an activation cost, but it comes online a turn earlier and doubles as a removal spell.

This is a rare, I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you. Usually, cycles don't include 6 lands (though of course there are a very small number of exceptions).

Helm and Glare are nasty in a token deck like this!

I tried Glare of Subdual in my cube once, and it was still miserable. I have fond memories of my Squirrel Opposition deck (featuring Static Orb), but I don't like its effect on lower power cubes.

Haha, cool suggestions, but honestly, I chose the proxy alterations to be low maintenance / easy to apply. Putting all the art through a filter means extra work, especially if you want to do a palette swap instead of an "easy" filter. I've been doing some Google searches, and palette swapping...

I was planning to see how it looks if you cut out the casting cost of the original card with a sharp knife, and replace it with the new one and use just a single tape on the backside of the card. Depends on how clean of a cut you can make, I think. Maybe it's easier to replace the entire top...

I actually put Scaretiller into my The Grand Odyssey card file :) I have decent hopes for it in this particular format!

I've tested both the Lamia and Final Parting, and both were fun but underwhelming in my environment. Turns out, five mana is a lot for a tutor.

Lately D&D has been taking up the time I spend behind my laptop, but the campaign is nearing its end, so it's only a matter of time before I can tinker with this cube again :)

Do note that one of those three noncreature cards you want to bounce is white, which is a point in favor of the Skyfisher. I don't think you run Oketra's Monument, but that is another card that could swing this fight in either direction, depending on whether you're into super synergistic pairs...
