This spell specifically does not punish Crucible of Worlds effects, nor Zombify type of cards. If you don't want that, you could change the wording to a much simpler... Whenever a card leaves a player's graveyard, unless it's exiled, ~ deals 2 damage to that player.

The art is sweet :) I remember playing with it in a casual deck, back in the day, and it was pretty solid. That was a long time ago though, no idea how it would play out in a modern cube environment, but it does trigger some nostalgia in me ;)

Ah, the mana rock discussion sneakily pops up again :) Cultivator's Caravan turned out to be an excellent vehicle in my cube, because of the shift to 3 cmc mana rocks and 5 cmc wrath effects! The crew 3 does sting sometimes, but as a 5/5, it routinely attacks better than any of the creatures...
