I don't think yo need to run multiplayer with 3-5 players. Those are number where you can actually think about doing a round robin tournament, where each player plays against every other player. My favorite draft format for four players is silent auction, by the way. That's been such a blast...

I'm fairly good at it, after coding dozens of cards over the past few years ;) There's a few areas that are really hard though, copying stuff always trips me up, for example. Also, keywords are hardcoded, so if you invent a new keyword, you have to work around that and actually write everything...

Mirri is sweet, never felt unfun to me. The environment is completely different though, plus if she's not your commander, it's a lot harder to get her back :) She's good at providing that aggro reach grillo was talking about in that quoted post in another thread a couple of days ago :)

I think it will be much lower than 80% (assuming colorless mana), since you control when this is cast and your opponent isn't often going to be so ahead on mana that you can't cast the thing you countered on the next turn. Unless you are playing against a ramp deck of course, but in that case...

Yeah, maybe the Counterspell (or the mechanic) is just hard to balance.

I think you're really close to a cool mechanic, but I don't like that the relevancy of the market is dictated by the colors you and your opponent are playing. I would make cards in the marketplace effectively cost colorless mana, like Hostage Taker, and then balance around that. So... Wage...

Well, I've got a few extra gold slots compared to most cubes, so... Hard to say? Clan Defiance certainly is powerful when you can use all three modes, but I guess it's used most often as a Ravaging Blaze, which honestly looks like a fine option if you're looking for a monocolored alternative.

Is this appropriate if I want to make Demonic Pact and Smokestack/Braids, Cabal Minion a bit better? (Don't mind the placeholder art) Surely in commander this is more nuts than in 1v1. Also, way less vulnerable and one color instead of three. But yes, in testing so far, Aaneetra has been powerful.

Not sure how much you can make out, but this was a wild turn! Took full advantage of both Heartbeat of Spring and Mana Flare sticking, and the untap all lands post combat custom :) Sentinel Tower would have dealt 10 here. Also enough to kill the opponent with Geistblast on Clan Defiance!
