    General CBS

I put 4+ mana cards to really take advantage of the Rector's ability. I would play these in most decks (my understanding of non-poisonous). Sagas offer a lot of value, but there are also some fun non-saga enchantments in the list. A card advantage engine Court of Grace Keranos, God of Storms...

Are the old bordered cards available in foil? If so, these lands are going to be even better especially the Mirage Mountain!

    "Fast" multiplayer cube

So I tried Inscho’s starting from scratch experiment to see where there might be some bloat in the cube. I was able to painfully go down to 380 cards, without touching on the fixing, which probably brings it down to 370. Since I intend to keep the cube in the 420-450 range, I stopped there, but...

    Inscho's Graveyard Combo Cube

Wildfire: Having drafted your latest version of the cube a bunch on Cubecobra, I can say that I've very rarely been tempted by Wildfire. The other build arounds are so much more powerful and lower on the curve that it doesn't compete for me. I'm actually higher on Devastating Dreams because...

    Sets [J22] Jumpstarting Once More

Two of the big ones I like that are not on your list are Ranger Class Biophagus The enchantment might be because the Class template isn't super sexy, but gameplay wise, it delivers. It's generally useful in other decks, is a great mana sink and isn't 3 mana. I am usually not a fan of 2 mana...

Erik's "The cool side of Magic" cube

I love Squandered Resources as a mana engine and I think it gives an interesting dimension to the lands deck. To really make it worth it though it takes a bunch of set up with extra land drops and recursion though. A second Life from the Loam would be really perfect if you are also jamming the 2...

    "Fast" multiplayer cube

With Erik’s recent post and my 1vs1 cube experiment, I am in a combo(ish) mood and I'll be testing these two sexy beasts Mana Vault Paradox Engine Mana Vault? Really? Yes! It’s been my experience that these one shot ramp spells have a real cost in MP games. Getting whatever you cast answered...

    Nanonox's 1vs1 cube

I actually did add Tendrils following your drafts. I’ve felt the need in BR decks specifically as you mentioned. I’ve drafted a few and had no win conditions! Yes it’s narrow, yes it rots in SBs, but when it’s good it makes the whole deck viable. Worth the single slot.

    Nanonox's 1vs1 cube

I assumed you weren't running BF because it was too powerful or too easy to abuse in your cube. Especially in your environment, I think it has a lot of play both as an enabler, a finisher or both if you can recur it. Highly recommend if you aren't afraid of it's power level. Good call. The one...

Quirion beastcaller? Seems good for any aggressive Green deck and helps give the counters deck some resilience against spot removal. Not a human unfortunately.

    General Fight Club

I like the Imp because it’s actually a good control card in slower formats. Flying + effectively deathtouch trades very well and you can then recur it trade again maybe milling a flashback card for extra value. It also mills the most out of the three.

    "Fast" multiplayer cube

Looking at some tough cuts. I’d like to include Combat Thresher It’s a good aggro beater that fits with White’s main gameplans: blink and equipment. I have a lot of 3 drops and some that are probably redundant. Looking at these 3 token makers as cuts Hallowed Spiritkeeper Adeline...

Who's the Beatdown? A Macroarchetype Cube

I guess I was suggesting that since Blue is always going to be better than the others at control, you need a clear reason to entice them to go elsewhere. Offering good value and answers in other colors is necessary, I agree with you. But if those don’t compare to the Blue alternatives why bother...

Who's the Beatdown? A Macroarchetype Cube

This is a cool write up, enjoyed reading it. In regards to Blue having the best draw and giving tools to other colors: What’s to stop Blue from also picking up those cards in addition to its draw? I think that is part of the challenge to more diverse control decks. Multicoloured cards could be...

    General Fight Club

Glasspool minic If most of the time you will be copying a merfolk lord (which generally costs 2 mana), maybe the 3 drop clone is where you want to be for curve out purposes? Even though it’s a flexible inclusion, the fact that it’s restricted to your own creatures increases the likelihood that...

    Nanonox's 1vs1 cube

Oops, processed the post in my head, but forgot to answer here! Thanks for the responses. Plargg is a good suggestion, but I don't know if it's worth the complexity. The backside is also very decent as a stand alone White card, which adds to the complexity. A WB token deck can play the card...
