I'll have you know that that's one of the most iconic D&D monsters in existence, the beholder, and that it's conception predates Doom by almost 20 years. Shit, you've been at it even longer than me! I started playing AD&D 2nd edition in the fall of '99. Never played Spellfire though.

It's an expression that means something like "to excessively focus on minute details" ;) I thought the "Creatures you control gain haste until end of turn." was neat for playing it as the last card in a turn where you deploy other threats as well, but this works too, and it's correctly worded!

You really like your capital letters don't you? Are you sure you're not secretly a capitalist? :p 'Rich' in the flavor text should be 'rich' with a lower case r. Also, you put quotation marks at the end of the sentenc, but not at the start. Great flavor text by the way :)

I think there are multiple cards in your cube that could be brushed up a bit. I noticed a few minor errors here and there during the stream, but I figured your crowd didn't care too much or they would already have pointed them out ;)
