The Dandy Cube (Chris Taylor's Cube)

Sidebar: Cardboard Asthetics I mentioned that this was the first draft I'd had since COVID started, so I haven't actually been interacting with magic all that much. I don't play commander, or arena, and I'd been playing other video games rather than thinking about cube for the last two years...

The Dandy Cube (Chris Taylor's Cube)

We had the first draft of this cube since...probably March of 2020. I'd drafted this a few times online in the intervening time, but that's not really the same. Partially I'm just happy to see people again, and be dealing with the familiar problems of "I've edited this image badly" and not "the...

Pokémon: the Gathering - A Custom Cube

I'll throw in my 2c in saying: Exploration is just not that great in cube barring some insane crucible or bounceland sheninigans, so I figure 2 mana on exploring is fine.

So I don't have a full idea here but the compleated text from Tamiyo, compleated sage can probably be used to make a walker that only survives it downtick if you pay colored mana for it, and costs only colorless otherwise, essentially turning it into a colorless sorcery/colored walker split...

Of those I find the instant speed is very valuable, so I actually run Hero's Downfall and Murderous Rider (I also run BGU self mill and GWR counters, so slightly different) I've just never found the 7-8 mana mode on ruinous path to come up all that often, and return always felt like an...

I'd like Glittering stockpile a lot more (RE: treasure) if it entered with a counter or added X+1 mana with the sac ability I get what that might not have been done for balance reasons, but at least then it would be able to do the treasure ability.

For me, rob the archives was mostly a straight swap for Reckless Impulse. I know you get one fewer turn to play em, but the aristocrats synergy on a card you'd mostly play anyway is solid. I run +1/+1 counters, so Raffine's informant is just a lot more clear than some other things I could be...

Complete sidebar: @Velrun if you're doing more CC work for people, I've found out a weird tip possibly too niche for other people If you're making stuff with this frame, be sure to add the red frame to the whole card, then green to the right hand side (as opposed to red left, green right...
