It's pretty sweet. Regrowth suffers a little from only being good mid-late game. Being an instant and adding flexibility is probably worth G in a lot of scenarios.

I played with it once and found it very unsatisfying to win by so much and in such an unfun way. I don't know who would like to play with or against the card. The card came out of my deck before the next game.

He's nice because I'm aiming to keep this nonland singleton, so he's a perfect fit that doesn't take away from other decks.

WOTC should do something like that with Rat Colony or similar "run lots" style cards.

You could probably cut both cards at once with a good enough blade, ensuring the cut is the same size. But Vel maybe be right (again, ugh) that the edit needs to be noticeable.
