The one with Tamiyo really pisses me off. One thing I like about her is she looks so awesome without being made hot or sexual. Pretty rare for a female magic card. tamiyo, the moon sage

    Card/Deck Artifact/Enchantment destruction

True, it's not going to be always good like Wasteland, but the point is still you'll be totally happy to play one. The downside is not huge if there's no targets.

    Card/Deck Artifact/Enchantment destruction

Why not a land that sacs to destroy artifacts? The problem with artifacts is they're hard to interact with - just like lands are. If Wasteland is the right card for that job, maybe some kind of artifact analogue would solve this problem? I think a correctly developed card like this could be run...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Ok back to discussing single cards. Golgari Guildmage This fits my +1/+1 counter theme (weakly) and the value graveyard strategies I'm still trying to design/develop (intellectually I'm at stage one: "I want a value graveyard strategy", practical I'm several stages ahead: "I guess I'll just...

I like both those things! I thought this was a bit slow though, and slow is my jam. Here's a song I've been loving recently:

Actually I do see a negative tone here: People won't stop bashing MTGS. I've said it a lot, but cut it out, dudes. "I was looking for some terrible design i saw on MTGS (sic)", cmon we don't need stuff like that. Post good designs.

Maybe I should post more, I'm an inexplicably positive person. Actually I wanna back up CML here, I don't think he's out of line. What I really like about this site is people disagree without just shooting down out outside-the-box ideas, or even shooting down really conventional ideas. I...

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I think the utility land draft should just be for the really oddball lands that people wouldn't spend picks on, but would definitely be an enjoyable part of deckbuilding and playing. But then again I don't even use one.

I'm just quoting from facebook right now: "yeh, didnt face many creature strategies.. I think I was more prepared for that sort of front. Also ended up pretty flooded most games.." He had double Shriekmaw, double Mulldrifter and Crystal Shard it was so awesome! Such a shame.

I like these except for Fervent Charge. I ran Realm Razer forever though, and nobody used it.

    General Three-color cards worth running

Yeah it's pretty much impossible to remove. It's a black artifact multicolored creature with protection from green and red with six toughness.

Contract from Below? Best magic card ever printed. It's cool to see it now and then but definitely not all the time.

It's a total bomb in Theros limited, I cut it because of that. The -X is really cool but most of the time I think it just mills them to death without much difficulty.

    General Three-color cards worth running

Oh yeah, forgot this guy! He's amazing! Both cards are very good and I would happily run them as my only 3-color cards. They definitely incentivise people to go into Grixis control. Oh, well, right, I would totally cut them before I cut Maelstrom Wanderer, but they're definitely the next two...
