I haven't been into music much recently, but I do love this podcast: http://chanceswithwolves.blogspot.ch/. They play such good music, and I don't ever know any of it. After I get bored of my iTunes playlists this is what I put on when people are around.

I like Tamillo! I don't really have reasons other than aesthetic ones. I love her art and I like Kamigawa, and yeah, she's pretty excellent when she's in play. Sometimes you play her and just keep +1ing her and eventually ultimate her and then you win.

My mom's visiting (that's a good thing, she's cool) and we're heading out to my grandma's house for copious grub. Hurrah. And tonight/tomorrow night I rack my brains painfully to come up with another bunch of original christmas cards. Ugh.

I like Night's Whisper. I run it and Read the Bones for control. I really like their effects at those costs, and the life loss is relevant. I feel like I run Night's Whisper because somehow blue lacks an efficient draw spell at 2 mana. There's plenty of blue draw spells at 1 or 3 or 4 or more...

The first time I drafted Theros I think I forgot I wasn't drafting cube and I first or second picked a Firedrinker Satyr thinking "Alright, I'll go red aggro, one drops are important." I landed that guy on turn 1 in 40 or 50% of my games and 3-0'd, it was awesome.

I had a drafter who used to force "5-color awesome" in my cube every time. He loved this card. So if you have someone like that, go for it. It's kind of bad, but it's the good kind of bad, you know?
