For the new season I spent my dust making a Renomage deck. Crafted Kazakus and Bloodmage Thalnos, and I'm using Lifecoach's Medivh tech since I have that card. I'm not sure how good it is, but it obviously gives insane value off of 10-mana Kazakus potions.
Who knows what the deck will look...
Getting better at arena (on average), but I keep hitting an 8-win wall. Last many runs: 8, 8, 7, 7, 8, 5, 3, 2, 8, 8
I feel like whether I draw a two-mana 2/3 or not determines half of my games.
Mildly proud of myself for taking a deck with no legendaries to Rank 5 in constructed. The ladder is such a grind, and some games just feel unwinnable, but fiddling with the deck is pretty fun.
Running a midrange Jade list with Kobold Geomancer in place of Bloodmage Thalnos.
I think the card is fine in most cases, but rarely "broken". Biggest quality is that it has value both early and late game, and I suspect there's some play to timing when to run this out.
I got up to Rank 10 in constructed play. According to this thing (http://hearthstone.gamepedia.com/Ranked), that puts me in the top 8% of players. Currently running a Discolock deck, it's got some play to it but because of my curve I'm often kind of "all-in". Biggest thing to learn right now is...
I was looking at some constructed decks (Discolock variants), and are cards like Malchezaar's Imp and Silverware Golem only available via purchase of the quest?
My last three runs have gone 7 - 2, 6 - 2, 8 - 2 after adjusting my curve to not overload so heavily on low drops. Think I'm getting the hang of it a bit.
I pulled another 7 - 3 (without the newbie bonus) after upping my curve, but I think could have posted a better record. I punted my final game by attacking a creature instead of going face on a crucial turn. I wish there were some way to watch replays of games so I could study certain situations...
Anyone have any resources on what kind of curve to draft? I think I'm trending too low, and not properly adjusting to the fact that you get a guaranteed land drop per turn.
Do you guys have any recommended sites/streamers/youtubers for watching Arena runs? I still feel like I have no idea how to draft properly in this game.
