Seriously though, it works super well with maindeck looters. Thanks to Faithless Looting and Izzet Charm, I was casting it "for free" out of the yard. It's also pretty good wrath protection. I'm sold.

I just won a series by casting and recasting Skaab Ruinator in a creature-light, zombie-less deck. I vouch for it. Fatestitcher was cute, but only as a Pod trick. It never saw play in actual zombie decks. (But once, in zombie-pod)
