Would you play Leap in an aggro-recursion deck?

I think it should be noted that (at least in my opinion) the "good stuff" piles in Modern are highly interactive decks with interesting sequencing decisions, and are fun to play with and against.

Problem I have with Domri is that I doubt he'd end up in the same deck as Brainstorm. I could be wrong, but whenever I run Domri I want creatures galore. When I ran 6x Brainstorm and Domri in the same list the "synergy" never actually came together.

I have considered it, just not written about it. My concern is that it overlaps so much with Volrath's in function, while still being worse in most cases. You don't want it in your opening hand at all. I don't think it's a bad suggestion, but something "feels" off about it.

You touch on a lot of great points here. I think a lot of the problem comes from this idea that we have "the one cube". Retail sets don't jam every idea at once. They shouldn't. There are examples of sets that have themes that are "literally incompatible" and we hold up many of them as failures...

Big problem with Leonin Arbiter is that it affects you too, especially if your white decks are planning on rumbling in with Steppe Lynxes. I have considered it, but it's kind of encouraging players to go in a direction that I don't want them to go in with their deckbuilding.

My Pod decks are always mana starved. James and I were talking about Skaab Ruinator as a Pod card, but I can't see it fitting in any other deck in my environment.

Unrelated: Is Basilisk Collar any good anymore? The only pinger I run is Lavamancer (I think, well, Inferno Titan too a bit). Are people still playing it in your cubes?

Epochrasite does have more interesting Pod synergy (in both directions), and it kind of a goofy Cascade target.
