I don't know if your title applies anymore, but I'm too lazy to change it.

The biggest feeling I have from those years is pushing the boundary of how much we could get away with. The first time you submitted something late, you'd ask for an extension. The next time you'd just leave it on her desk. Eventually people started planning to submit things late without fear of...

She was good, in a way, but people tried to get her fired on multiple occasions. I heard rumors that she always played the race card in her defense as one of our schools only minority teachers. There were also rumors that the principal hid in the ceiling and spied on kids peeing, in order to...

I'm pretty sure we watched Waking Life in my English class in high school. But that was a weird class where we also read Murakami books, acted out internet videos, watched the Friends finale and played Munchkin.

Imagine if Ghitu Slinger triggered on exit. Then, well, it'd be staggershock a lot I guess. I ran Slinger briefly when I introduced Pod, but even then it was a little underwhelming.

I spend much less time at the computer on the weekend. As I imagine most of you do too, judging by our traffic patterns.

Due to a weird shipping error I'll be buying Smash 4 from a Dutch colleague tomorrow at a deep discount. It'll be a birthday present to myself.

I had avoided actually looking at this thread until today, and this is the first post I saw. Good times RipLab.

Inspired by a conversation with Hannes. Let's talk about dumb restrictions for formats. Maybe one of them will turn out to be good and interesting. First up: Every creature is a 2/2. And for some reason the most prevalent removal are Pyroclasms. Like dozens of them. Curse of Death's Hold is...

I've only played it very briefly, I don't know, the magic isn't there. I will say it's pretty terrible to watch. To me the Smash series will always have Melee (and to a lesser extent 64) looming over it. I played Melee a few weeks ago with a friend, and the game still exists, and I still have a...

Is the 3DS worth owning yet? What games do you guys actually like on it? Also, I've been wanting an Xbox One, vaguely, but the only game I really really want (Master Chief Collection) is borked as fuck, by all accounts.

I gotta say, the Wii U is much better than I thought it would be. Mario Kart 8 is the best racing Mario Kart experience ever. The controls are tight and the boost system feels natural and rewarding. Online play is fun and painless, the only downside would be the lack of a proper battle-mode...

    The Book Thread

I read The First 15 Lives of Harry August and it was pretty enjoyable. It's a book about some dude who gets reborn at the start of his life after he dies each time, with all his memories intact. Normally I'm all up in a book's business about plot holes and stupid tropes, but this one was solid.
