I'm having trouble getting anybody to go all-in on the lifegain deck, but the cards that support it are still getting played. Last night somebody even just jammed Ajani's Pridemate into their :g::w::b: midrange deck and it ended up being a huge threat. On a couple occasions it grew to a 4/4 or...
I'll read this later, but I have used Chandra's +0 a ton in cube, and it's a pretty enjoyable ability. I do agree that it doesn't slot very cleanly into a control shell.
I got out-teched tonight when my finals opponent played all basics, then used Zealous Conscripts to steal my Wasteland and blow up another land, locking me out of a color.
I kind of wonder if an archetype is worth supporting in a traditional cube if it requires fast mana rocks to operate. I don't think the upside is worth the cost.
