I kinda like whirler. Won release sealed with a mediocre gw aggro deck. Renown is not a great gameplay experience.

Pod is an archetype unto itself as well as a "draft altering" card like the ones in Conspiracy, without messing with the actual draft. It's almost worth running just for the amount of times somebody drafts what looks like a sweet Pod deck, only to discover they have no 5 drops.

I once watched someone soulbond silverheart to wild beastmaster which was pretty good to say the least.

The game moving towards all fox all the time legitimizes it to me more than "we are so serious amd competitive and want to be the best but also won't play the best characters because reasons."

Mostly what it does is leave behind a 3/3 beast token and a pile of lands as far as I can tell. Maybe you'll be in a better spot than your opponent. Maybe not. You'll never know until you try!
