Yep! I expect the people to praise this set mostly do it because the cards already overlap their cube quite a lot. Because it’s not a masterpiece except for the stats are powerful. Edit: I promise I won’t complain again about this set.

Certainly a few levels below I like Badderblossom There is also Betterblossom and Bestestblossom. Jokes aside Bitterblossom is insane in both aggro and control. In control it gives blockers that will save more life than it costs and be a treat itself as well. In aggro it’s an unstoppable force.

The art on the cards in this are beautiful!

Today has changed my mind a bit about Midnight Hunt. I like this set above average now. Still very wordy and still has Day/Night mechanic. Is Unsummon finally worth it?

This set has almost nothing for me. The cards are just not that interesting. Yes, there are many pushed cards. But that alone is not a quality to me.

If you take out Furnace, your players will no longer have to keep their graveyards in order of entering in every single game. The rules allow your players to not care about graveyard order if there are no cards that care about graveyard order in your format (your cube)

I think Slogurk, the Overslime is too texty and a bit too complex (with what it does with its text) for how interesting I find the card. It is going to be a pass for me unless I switch to land-focused builds.

I do admit the back of my Plargg doesn’t look as good as my front :P It had a rough time painting those mana symbols because they’re so small and my pen certainly too large. And for lack of skills :P

Usually these mana smoothers at 2 mana come with an ETB draw a card to replace themselves. This one doesn't but instead comes with a level up ability. Quite elegant but also very low power.
