Yeah in the line of ‘This set replaces a Core set’ it’s actually fine. Core sets are also never home runs. I for one actually don’t mind the trade here if I am being honest.

Well I’m sticking with my original statement that I think it is strong against control players.

But they are also a card behind. The ETB draw a card is what I like while it can repeatedly draw.

Ichor Wellspring is a niche card that only works if you consistently can put it into your graveyard. Otherwise it’s just a cantrip. Phyrexian Arena costs 50 % more mana. And also not colorless. And also has double black in it’s mana requirement. And it draws 1 card less.

This seems very strong against control players. The card draw rate per life is half as high as on Sylvan Library. It’s colorless and cantrips when ETB.

I can’t unsee the weird extra large spaces between the lines of text on Artificer custom cards.

I really like it but have never tried it. Please let me know how testing goes.

It’s cheap so you can sneak it out almost any turn. It has evasion for your Equipments. It can ramp you and create an artifact every turn you have 2 mana to spare. It is a boss in the late game because most of your creatures threaten to be deathtouchable.
