Maybe if all Leylines had smaller effects and cheaper mana cost? Like an enchantment with the value of a 1,5 mana card but a cost of 2 mana + a potential free cast from opening hand. Would that suffice?

Yeah well in my cube (And I am not saying I have the only truth or anything, lol) you had to spend three picks so to speak. A Fantasy Coin you could only get from booster packs and they were drafted like any other card. So getting a Fantasy Coin would mean giving up on drafting another card...

I used to run these 5 in The Marketplace which was a sort of Utility Land Draft. Booster packs for my cube used to have 14 cards and 1 speciel custom card called Fantasy Coin that could be used to purchase items from The Marketplace. Most items on the Marketplace was either colorless...

A word of advice: If you are worried about spending money on buying cards that might get banned in this super new format where Wizards have stated that bans could happen often in these early days..then won’t buy any cards yet. Wait till the format has settled.

I am not sure I understand the flavor behind an instant or sorcery with escape. It escapes for a second only to return to the dead?
