    General CBS

Probably, but my reasoning is if I am playing a mid/lower power cube I’m not looking to get infinite comboed out of the game. In that context, it’s not fun* to play against (*my opinion on fun). Since games also tend to go on longer, you have more looks at finding the cards and a combo ending...

    General CBS

I think low to mid power, Persist isn’t great with Finks and Redcap because it just ends the game out of nowhere as they both have ETBs that effectively win the game. If you were to use the vanilla persist creatures (Masticore, Goblin and Elite), you could make the deck play less deterministic...

    General Fight Club

You don’t seem enamoured with these choices so I’ll throw in a suggestion Waterfront Bouncer An old school classic that discards at instant speed, but trades the draw for board presence. Seems like it would fit the vibes of the CCC nicely and be unique enough to stand out from Merfolk Looter.

    Nanonox's 1vs1 cube

Fancy that! I imagine you're also going to suggest Scapeshift for a Tifa Lockhart package and next thing you know, Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle makes sense too. Joking aside, Dryad is a solid recommendation! Untappers I've had Faeries in my maybeboard for a bit, but it seemed a little narrow...

    Nanonox's 1vs1 cube

High Tide I was thinking of ways to make Green play along with the spell velocity themes in the cube and remembered High Tide. This card shines when 1. You have a lot of Islands on the battlefield 2. You can untap your lands for cheap (cheap depends on the amount of Islands you have) 3. You can...

    Brad Loves Eldrazi

I think this is the one. What I like the most here is that you have two ramp pairs making Eldrazis more plausible + a slower UB strategy that is also favorable to the Titans. How are you planning on differentiating the two ramp color combinations?

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

I'll echo what others have said, I think it's totally fine at your power level and will play really well. I personally find it a bit generic from a synergy perspective, in that you don't have a ton of hooks compared to the likes of Fractured Identity, Three Steps Ahead and Sublime Epiphany (I...

General [SOS] Secrets of Strixhaven Testing/Includes

This set singlehandedly has me adding back my instant and sorcery matters payoffs as a couple of cards are just so perfect with what the cube is doing. In addition, there is a high number of cards that I think will stay for a long time, which is quite rare! For now, I am passing on the Prepared...

    Dom's Stream of Consciousness

Love a report and deck lists, thanks for sharing. Have you tried Voldaren Bloodcaster? I'm always on the edge of adding it, but haven't committed yet (mostly due to DFC issues). Even adds artifacts to the mix!

    General (SOS) Secrets of Strixhaven

Generally not a fan of the art in this set, but there are exceptions. This one is a little tarnished by the flavor text, but I absolutely love this art. Oracle's Restoration Another banger and solid cantrip. This one too has amazing art. Have you tried Gumdrop Poisoner btw? Not art...

    General (SOS) Secrets of Strixhaven

This is one hard hitter! I don’t think the limitations on power or toughness matter much as you are likely sacrificing tokens or Bloodghast/Gravecrawler and friends. Maybe you get less triggers in combat making suicide attacks less impactful.

    Nanonox's 1vs1 cube

Cube cleanup I didn't expect there to be so many Strixhaven spoilers I'd be interested in and I find myself needing cuts. Thought it could be a good time to check out various archetypes and their support as well as some of the more fringe cards in the cube. +1/+1 Counters There are two...

I just wish the bodies were smaller on the three drops. You are already getting a free spell, come on!

    General (SOS) Secrets of Strixhaven

Lesser Manticore Metallic Mimic These two would allow you to stay in Boros, while also playing with discard and counters. Seems like a tight Persist package is possible if you want it.+

Lingering Souls? Not really but if you can bin this, 2 mana for 2 flyers is a great rate.

    General (SOS) Secrets of Strixhaven

I’d be a lot more into this if it said X or less. As it stands, you have to have a pretty heavily slanted curve to make it pop. Doesn’t even have to target your stuff!

Sets (TDM & TDC) Tarkir: Dragonstorm Testing/Includes Thread!

Unlike you chumps, Cori-Steel Cutter was on my radar…for my lower power cube…Moving on. Cori-steel cutter Tersa, Lightshatter Winternight Stories Heritage Reclamation These are the four I run from the main set. Tersa and Reclamation were in my initial set of adds and I still like them to this...

I was planning on skipping the prepared cards, now I actually have to think a bit harder cause that owl looks great!

    Nanonox's 1vs1 cube

Appreciate you taking part in the discussion! I assume you mean cards like Green Sun's Zenith, Finale of Devastation, Tooth and Nail and so on. If so, then you are spot on, it's not what I am looking for in the current iteration of the cube, good analysis. Now that you mention it, I could...

    Nanonox's 1vs1 cube

Land Grant is a free spell I forgot about, I like it better than Bushwhack and other variants here I think. The only times I've had Green work alongside spells (non-storm) was in decks with a strong GY focus (discard in RG or self-mill in UG) and using Life from the Loam and Formless Genesis as...
