I often face the same ‘problem’ Although I am sometimes doing an Ahadabans and proxying cards to test in a tournament before I make the purchase.

I bet you had like 10 cards from Battle for Zendikar but have later realized some of those should never have been included :P

Nah I do not think it will make it into even the lowest of power cubes. But I do like that they put a single batallion into the set. Just like they put one annihilator into Battle for Zendikar ;)

May I ask how many instants and/or sorceries you want an Izzet Spell Matters deck to run? With prowess you could also trigger from enchantments, artifacts and planeswalkers. It is a little bit more difficult with ‘pure prowess’, no?

Yes it has been printed in 8 different sets since it was first printed in Innistrad 7 years ago in 2011. That was 5 years before Blizzard came up with Possessed Villager in case you were wondering :P Also green has Blisterpod if someone wants something more than a vanilla 1/1.
