How well would these guys fare in your cubes?
(Not actually a single card spotlight, I know I know)
I am debating if these are still too good or if they are actually too difficult to get to work now.
That's awesome :) I do something very similiar although I use golden stars as stickers instead of round colorful stickers.
Would it change your mind if you could print custom cards in a quality on level with real Magic cards (except you'll still have to cut the silk paper)? Or is it more about...
I do exactly the same. Could you be so kind as to take a photo and upload it here? I want to see your stickers.
Also: Even if you are not into custom cards I think you should break that rule once (or five times) with the enemy Battle for Zendikar Tango Fencing lands. Mana bases are just so very...
So your 2nd cube should include all the other Guilds that you are not supporting in your 1st cube? That sounds very interesting if you ask me :)
“Hello everyone and welcome to the draft. Now before we begin I would like to roll this dice. On even we play 1st cube. On odd we play the 2nd.”
It has been on Thursdays for a little year now. Wizards wanted players to get a little extra time to get to know the cards before Per-releases. At least that is what they wrote.
Edit: Aaaaaaaand the full spoiler is up (on a Thursday)...
Insicho would you be so kind as to start an entire new thread with your ideas for that Hellbend Red deck?
I will be most interested to read it and I think many other cubers will too.
Nah I do not think it will make it into even the lowest of power cubes. But I do like that they put a single batallion into the set.
Just like they put one annihilator into Battle for Zendikar ;)
I am 100 % going to run it. It has a very interesting mechanic and it doesn’t seem as powerful as many other cards. I also like giving creatures that are 4-6 mana some extra meat in Abzan colors. This fits perfectly.
Also it has synergy with other graveyard-matters cards. And I was already in...
May I ask how many instants and/or sorceries you want an Izzet Spell Matters deck to run?
With prowess you could also trigger from enchantments, artifacts and planeswalkers. It is a little bit more difficult with ‘pure prowess’, no?
Yes it has been printed in 8 different sets since it was first printed in Innistrad 7 years ago in 2011. That was 5 years before Blizzard came up with Possessed Villager in case you were wondering :P
Also green has Blisterpod if someone wants something more than a vanilla 1/1.
I guess but then you can also play Walking Atlas as a non-artifact creature card :P
I think it is an interesting approach you are bringing up here: We can basically do whatever we want and with these kind of mistakes we can pretend to always have R&D's Secret Lair on the battlefield.
I have...
