I only run Chandra, the Firebrand. She's fun, easy to cast, and not oppressive. Her value is very much dependent on your deck, and that's what I look for in a card. I'm gunna be scared if my opponent -2's her, but it's going to be exciting too.

True, it's not going to be always good like Wasteland, but the point is still you'll be totally happy to play one. The downside is not huge if there's no targets.

Why not a land that sacs to destroy artifacts? The problem with artifacts is they're hard to interact with - just like lands are. If Wasteland is the right card for that job, maybe some kind of artifact analogue would solve this problem? I think a correctly developed card like this could be run...

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I think the utility land draft should just be for the really oddball lands that people wouldn't spend picks on, but would definitely be an enjoyable part of deckbuilding and playing. But then again I don't even use one.
