As someone with lightning angel my first evaluation has been that a 1-cmc difference isn't that much more rewarding / it's harder to nail without green rainbow dorks, and that having your XYZ guy that you feel really accomplished for casting dying to bolt, agony warp, last gasp etc. etc. sucks...
