My list has always run O-Naginata and it has met with varying degrees of success but is typically good. I forced BoB in a red/black sacrifice deck and went for a shotgun (goblin bombardment a bunch of shit, swing at you for a lot) that got me an unsummon. Very sad.

These. I'm really not impressed with red's 3s when you look at how great they are pretty much everywhere else. The only thing I run that most people are weary of at first is pyreheart wolf. He sucks himself but he's great on-curve if you have a nice hasty 4.

Master biomancer was ok but the other 2 you imaged just never got there. I have shambleshark because {U}{G} tempo is sweet when a lot of your stuff has flash.

Unfortunately I think this is a WotC problem more than finding the right cards. You can be as cute as you want but at the end of the day you will still be turning guys sideways and/or throwing lightning around.
