Field of the Dead seems really really risky, especially because at lower power levels you usually do not have cards like Strip Mine and Wasteland.
Mox Opal, on the other hand, looks fine. In a low-powered heavy artifact cube I would not put it, but if artifacts are one of the archetypes then...
Knight of Autumn?
Nice when blinked with Astral Slide, it can put some +1/+1 counters on itself, it is generally a decent card that may go in any deck… not something that drives you into Selesnya, but I would be happy to have one in my 23
This is something very interesting I noticed, for me having cards in English/German/Spanish/Portuguese is kinda the same thing, because they are all foreign languages to me. But some people in my playgroup struggle even with very basic cards in other languages (even in English). So I am always...
Are you fine with mix-and-matching? You could keep the SOM ones for more aggressive colour combinations and the M10 ones for more slower ones. Like, RW gets Inspiring Vantage but UB gets Drowned Catacombs
If the power level is not too low, you may also consider
Bloodrage Brawler
It is not repeatable, but a 4/3 for two mana is very big, and it is also a very clean (=not wordy) card
Well, it depends clearly if these are meant just for Cube or in general. The Shaolin would be very broken in Constructed since 99% of decks would have no reason not to play it (and the other 1% are the Vintage Lurrus decks)
This is the most beautiful draft walkthrough I ever read
So your advice would be just put every single card from RAV/GPT/DIS in one cube and remove the draft chaff and the broken stuff? With no repetition of cards?
Yeah that's basically the W/B archetype in MH1 draft: a format where you had King of the Pride, Undead Augur and then all the black Ninjas and Goblins, and white Sliver lords, and you could play all in the same deck. Always loved it but it feels hard to replicate in Cube because you also want...
Excluding collation and the fact that there is a common that is slightly underprinted with respect to the others,
There are 60 commons in DIS (I don't know where you found 57, both the wiki and scryfall say 60). Each booster pack contains 11 commons. Since the same booster pack cannot contain...
Well, not against Martyr of Sands.dek!
Great analysis Brad! Really loved that period of MtG, I feel like Kamigawa, Ravnica, Time Spiral and Lorwyn are between the best blocks ever
