I do kind of look forward to seeing if / how people use this in Vintage. I'm always intrigued by cards that make their only home in Vintage, although I guess "artifact" in the text is one of the major ways to make a home exclusively in Vintage.

I like the analysis of the CMC of effects versus the CMC of the Planeswalker. Are there other PWs with weird disparities? Curiously, JTMS is comprised mostly of (extremely efficient) 1-CMC effects.

I'm not a fan of the new frame, but it does look "new", so maybe that's what they're trying to accomplish? Old frames look super old, and it's probably important to the health of the game that they keep things feeling somewhat modern. Not sure this is it though.

I don't know if this is even true. And forcing a long game is no small feat in some cubes. For what it's worth, this guy requires you to untap 3 times before you get more value than something like, say, Prophetic Bolt.

This feels like pretty awful design. Upheaval is already a card that requires some context, and now you're pigeonholing the archetype to one very specific color combination. That's not really the direction I want three-color cards to go. I think in general I want any CDE card to work in any...
