General 'walkers and "everything costs 4"

I talked briefly about this card types problem in the chatcast, but I don't think it would be such a bad thing to have a cube with few artifacts, no game breaking ones, and no artifact removal. Planeswalkers are usually scaled such that you don't get your mana's worth if you activate them once...

Card/Deck Tezzeret (either one) and making them work in cube

I will say, I had Winter Orb in my cube for a long time and it very often led to super interesting game states. Armageddon too. I don't run either currently, but I can see the arguments.

Card/Deck Tezzeret (either one) and making them work in cube

Well, the main issue is that these are inherently subjective topics with no right answer. And that's a good thing.

General 'walkers and "everything costs 4"

There's a lot going on here. For one, card distribution (planeswalkers are printed ~ 7x per year, with a power floor), but suffice to say, if they were printing board wipes and spot removal and token generators in that volume and power level all the time we'd feel the need to constrain their...

    The OkCupid Experience

So, I have my first Tinder date tonight, but I think I'm mostly doing it so that it will improve my inevitable app review article.

General 'walkers and "everything costs 4"

I think it's more than just a number, but, among other things: - are they all auto-includes? - how many of them can be legitimately used in aggro - how many of them put tokens on the board

    Card/Deck [MCD] Equipment

Sure, if you like paying three mana for something that has no board impact and requires two connected hits to generate card advantage, assuming they have cards in hand.

Card/Deck Tezzeret (either one) and making them work in cube

Tezzeret, Agent I used to run this guy with pretty minimal support (some mana rocks, no signets, artifact lands in the utility land draft) and he was very powerful when opened in Pack 1. UB Tezzeret 3 - 0'd at least one draft. It's a powerful four-drop and I don't think you need to warp your...

    Card/Deck Cleric Tribal

The problem is that for lifegain the only real cards we have are: Ajani's Pridemate Archangel of Thune

Yeah, Scrying Sheets seems pretty cool. Do you run snow lands entirely in lieu of regular basics?

    Card/Deck Cleric Tribal

I think there are two main questions: can we make lifegain into a viable and well-designed archetype in a sufficiently powerful (e.g. mine) cube? If so, can cleric stuff (mainly Starlit Sanctum in the utility land draft) be a fun and useful component of said archetype?

    Card/Deck Cleric Tribal

If only this card didn't seem really, really awful. They keep printing clerics but no sweet "clerics matters" cards.

    Card/Deck Cleric Tribal

I am willing to entertain just adding to the utility land draft. But I would love if I could make some full-blown Cleric thing work because it's so preposterous. Likely overlapping with the lifegain theme being discussed elsewhere on the boards that is giving me weird feelings in my loins.

    Card/Deck Multipost

What if when you drafted one (from say, Utility land draft), you got 3 copies. Could we make this work? Does this support lifegain? Ramp? Are there ways that we can support decks possibly wanting to spend absurd amounts of colorless mana? Go wild with ideas please.
