    The OkCupid Experience

One of the categories was: "The next superhero duo: _____ and _____" I put "Robert Downey Jr." and "crippling debt", but the judge totally didn't get it and I felt mildly indignant.

    Card/Deck Making Delver Work

But note that I play a very mana constrained environment, and value those cards above Counterspell in almost all of my decks.

    Card/Deck Making Delver Work

I think it's fine but don't really see it as being more effective in tempo than something like Evasive Action, Miscalculation, Mana Leak, etc.

    Card/Deck Tappers

Yeah, I think the faster your environment is, the more Tumble Magnet gains over Icy. So many of our games come down to tempo, and being able to deploy and protect something like a PW on Turn 4 can make a huge difference.

Site News ChannelFireball Store Credit Contest Details

Well, yeah, obviously. I won the unstated "write articles for ChannelFireball contest" to settle an argument with the entire MTGS boards. Appeals to authority are incredibly effective.

    The OkCupid Experience

I went on a blind date a friend set up last night, and apparently it was board game night at the cafe she's a regular at so we went there and played Cards Against Humanity with a big group. It was my turn to judge, and the category was "______ will always get you laid." I flip through the...

    Card/Deck Tappers

Well, the best thing about Tumble Magnet was that it required no mana to activate, which was pretty important. I actually ran it until recently, and would say it's fairly cubeable. Far more palatable than Icy Manipulator, in my opinion.

    Jason Waddell's Cube

Hmm... Hexmage is probably the cut here. I have too many :b::b: cards already. I like the design (in theory), but... Oh, this reminds me of the time I included Hex Parasite as part of a Trinket Mage package. Speaking of a card that never kills planeswalkers...

Sol Ring is a stupid card that I might not even include in a Vintage cube. It ramps, whereas Moxen mostly just burst, if there's a difference to be appreciated.

Quick poll, how many people have actually seen Hexmage kill a planeswalker?

Yeah, I'm thinking like, three full sets of Moxen. Make it super Vintagey and interactive. I think there's potential.
