General Rebooting my cube, graveyard stuff!

I don't know if it's what you're looking for, but Legacy has an extremely interactive graveyard: Snapcaster Mage Deathrite Shaman Tarmogoyf Grim Lavamancer Scavenging Ooze Nimble Mongoose I think it's the best implementation of graveyard interaction of any format.

    Card/Deck [SCD] Molten Birth

I think part of the problem is that it's just such a slow card. Like CML says, spending 2-turns and 6-mana on 4 non-evasive guys is pretty suboptimal. But hey, try it out, maybe it plays better than I think.

No problem. I didn't get to really see them in action, but the tutors didn't seem all that spectacular. And I do like some Pyro Ascension.

    Eldrazi Domain Cube

Hmmm.. Burning-Tree is a pretty big part of enabling certain cards, i.e. Jund Hackblade Myr Superion Spellbreaker helps to get the finishers online. But maybe I just need a Cavern of Souls in the utility land stack?

    Eldrazi Domain Cube

Thanks for posting! These are some fairly solid suggestions. Student of Warfare - It's been on my list. Still looking to see if Boros Elite works well, with the various tokens floating around. The student is more of a known quantity to me (it's in my main cube), and I still want more...

General Rebooting my cube, graveyard stuff!

Interesting topic! I've been thinking for a while about doing a Graveyard-centered reboot, but am too busy with other projects at the moment. It sounds like you have some great ideas there. It may sound weird, but I was tinkering with a budget cube that had lots of retrace / flashback, and...

No, but there's a pretty large swath of territory between "incredibusted" and "15th pick".

    Card/Deck MCD -- Anthems

I found a really terrible card for my Eldrazi cube: Crescendo of War EDIT: Oh jeez, this is like when you say something out loud and then realize how terrible it sounds. This card is worse than I thought. Yet still interesting.

The cycling lands are great, even in non-Loam / Crucible decks. As somebody who talks a lot about the negative aspects of games dictated by color screw, I thought you'd be all over some flood protection.

They always say that the very top tier of Magic players have ~ 65 - 70% win rate.

    Jason Waddell's Cube

Hmm... well, I'm not sure, but even if I'm wrong, I'll say this much: I think it's important to watch the density of these sacrifice effects. You make good points, but they all kind of rely on the presence of disposable bodies. I'd also like players to be able to build non-sacrifice black decks...

    Article ChannelFireball: Utility Land Draft

I don't really have a personal line. So here's the design challenge. Aggro is fun in my cube. A lot of fun. Cards like Steppe Lynx and Gravecrawler make it that way. I'm happy with their design. Control struggles a little bit, which may well be a unique challenge that I face. I'm not worried...

    Card/Deck Green Aggro

Well, what's your concern exactly? I could run a cube with only 10 or 20 (or no) green cards and the players will compensate. The same way that players compensate based on the variable strength of colors / archetypes in draft formats. Like most things the devil is in the details. Would you still...

    Card/Deck Green Aggro

In my "cube list" Dryad Militant is a white 1-drop and Finks is a green 3-drop. When they are slotted into mono slots there's not really any risk of there being a problem.
