Ooooo! Another solid hit for the utility land draft!

I'm the guy who runs custom duals because I want my mana base to (slightly) favor aggressive decks because going X-color good stuff is already easy enough as is in cube (especially my cube). So yeah, I'm not going to add karoos. But thic cycle still makes me want to :)

When I still supported UG, I had a custom spell-land (think Gavony Township) that proliferated for {1}{g}{u}, {t}. It totally won a draft!

This cycle makes me want to introduce karoos to my cube, because you can ensure landfall with them each turn.

I think I'm okay with retiring Riptide Laboratory or Academy Ruins. Both, especially the latter, tend to lead to repetitive lines of play, which I'm not not keen on (despite my fond love of Crystal Shard).

Foresee was quite a ridiculous common though...

The blue one will be perfect to stall a big creature for a turn while you get ready to play your haymakers!

Banishing Light at {2}{W}{W} isn't really efficient, but this is a nice mana sink in the late game and downright scale-tipping scary once you reach 8+ mana!

That is actually a pretty great land for the ULD if there are enough playable allies floating around in this and the next set (and original Zendikar of course).

Spikeshot Elder, wheel Piston Sledge. The blanket card in this booster pack is Temple of Plenty, and a very reasonable pick. Both Wingsteed Rider and Auriok Salvagers merit consideration as well, assuming their respective themes are well supported in the cube.
