Why not make Necromus WUB? The gain 5 life part is definitely not on color, and there's still not a single red ability on there. Bork is cute.

Too much text! Aside from the fact that the text is simply not going to fit neatly on the card, I also think it involves too many choices. Six options is a lot.

Getting closer to a full list! I cut the artifact subtheme from red entirely. It's fun, but other themes take prevalence in the new color combinations. Man, cutting down to low numbers is always the hardest part!

Future Sight actually is a really good reason to go blue, but I don't know if your cube can support it. I know I don't run any triple mana of a single color cards in my Khans of Alara cube.
