Rushing River is way more awesome than you'ld realize on face value. I probably have to add that to my cube myself to be honest :) The spider dilemma hinges on the number of large flyers in your cube I think. Pincer Spider is a better creature most of the time is my guess. It played really well...

Well... Only one way to find out for sure, right? Both spells are only good while you're ahead, and both favor weenie strategies, in the sense that after resolving the spell, you'll only cast one- and two-drops for a while. They're pretty similar I think.

That doesn't work the way you think it does. Unmorphing a creature isn't an activated ability, it's a special ability that doesn't use the stack.

Lingering Death was always pretty mediocre in limited. Does no one remember playing with it? Seriously, Reciprocate is a better card, and no one would consider cubing that!
