    General Magic Tweaks

He doesn't seem much of a spike to me if he's not game for cracking a new meta!

    General Magic Tweaks

I actually haven't thought of that but I like it as a design tenet, trying to combat the non-game factor inherit in the game. We've had some talk about interaction and making sure that there are tools available for all archetypes to be participant in the game at all stages. Like, making sure...

Classic border, Modern border, New border? :)

Hm, a rochester / pack hybrid draft sounds pretty spicy / convoluted. Someone turn it into an article!

Not the commander 14 version I'd imagine
  6. Rasmus Källqvist

    General Fight Club

I'd honestly rather have to design an environment with "how do I make people live past turn four" than ponder how to make anyone want to run aggro and not just durdle around with fatties.

    General CBS

I guess that's pretty much it then isn't it? Evasion becomes the last nail in the coffin for any kind of interaction at all with a hexproofed creature

Super bums me out when people don't support black aggro (although I can see why there wouldn't be space). Confidant is great! Blood soaked champion into confidant into xahtrid necromancer. Smash smash smash.

    General CBS

What boggles me is why it's not called frogs with pants. I haven't gotten a chance to play with mauler in a cube yet but it feels nice to be able to play a blue green fatty ramp deck with some insurance that you can land the 6-drop and have it stick around. . CML, what decks have ascendancy...

    General Fight Club

Isn't the real answer none of them? Or maybe I'm just too biased on idiot aggro.
  13. Rasmus Källqvist

    General Breaking Singleton

I actually think it's a great example of how to design those "whoa, look I've got tribal!" happenstance themes in a cube. It's not something that is particularly revolutionary on this board but its nice to have something to point to more than just "look they're all humans!" (even though I like...

Sounds like scylla and charybdi, but elspeth at least sounds somewhat beatable. Doesn't Gideon just completely refocus the game around him in a pretty unfun way? At least you can hope to ignore elspeth sometimes

General Print this Wizards! (So I can put it in my cube)

For all the weird turns that show took towards the end it was still pretty fantastic. Nice reference

That is true of course! Didn't consider that. I just channelfireball, so maybe I shouldn't talk.

    The Penny Pincher Cube (360)

Writing on the phone leads to some jumbled nightmare sentences. Starcitygames is a harsh place to go and shop on a budget.

    The Penny Pincher Cube (360)

I'm not sure if that was part of the design limitations but ST really you way little bang for your buck. I'd say it's almost considerable limitations on what you can do with your budget!
