I think the idea that the pieces of the game are, or should be, worth something in and of themselves, and that this is something accepted by many players when perhaps it shouldn't be is a valid point.

Artificer's Assistant seems pretty bad. What about Blurry Beeble for artifact support?

Someone else first picked Oketra's Monument and drafted around it, and went 3-0 again. I'm really excited about this card, it's the real deal for sure.

Astral Slide because it's a super cool card and I love it

I think this is a really cool mechanic, with a lot of flexibility and design space, and it's very flavourful to boot. It gives spirits a mechanical identity that they were missing in the Innistrad blocks in a way that totally makes sense. I don't have much to comment on the specific card...

Chupacabra just looks so sheepish. If I didn't support humans I'd switch to the choops, but Nekrataal just about holds on due to that and the more relevant body. I don't like the non-black restriction but the creature type just about outweighs it.
