General What low-power themes would you explore, time permitting?

Yeah, I meant the theory more than the particular implementation. The set design notes said they were supposed to be "stronger individually" this time around.

General What low-power themes would you explore, time permitting?

I like the M15 approach of having low sliver density and high-power individual Slivers. Incidental tribal is best tribal.

Probably a good indicator of where you fall on this spectrum is whether or not you run this guy: Hero of Bladehold I don't mean to simplify it to just a spectrum, but on an n-dimensional plane (n=2ish?) I don't think you can really be in a good place if you run Hero and low-power removal.

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

I don't know if I've been an influence. I wrote an articles that was a proponent of "strong removal, strong aggro" as a fun way to play Magic. I am distinctly aggro biased, but my arguments line up pretty well with Lucas' earlier post.

    Sets [M15] Magic 2015 Spoilers

It's less of a power level argument and more of a misery argument. I just don't think it's good design.

Damnation Consuming Vapors For comparison, the 4CMC black spells I run in my cube.

I don't think you'd come to a different conclusion than the Theros block designers did. There's a reason they print Turn to Slag et. al. in the sets they do.

The ABBA-Halloween episode of Community is one of my favorite episodes of television ever. EDIT: This is what happens to RipLab threads. Sorry Sam.

I mean could they not have just been like, regular 1/1 flying bees, and then the queen grants them Deathtouch?

    Sets [M15] Magic 2015 Spoilers

I like how they printed Hornet Queen in a set with Convoke because that card needed the extra edge.
