My main problem with lifegain decks is that they kinda kill every chance of a fast aggro deck, unless you do it in a way such that the fast aggro deck is mill or poison based But in more midrange-y cubes I think the lifegain archetype would be very interesting. Also cards like Martyr of Sands...

Maybe it should cost :0: then? Obscure Ritual BB instant add BBBBB

I like the new Ajani, it doesn’t seem too overpowered but it looks fun. With a couple Soul Sister effects (and they continue printing ones that are very interesting, like Guide of Souls, Haliya and this new white Liliana) it can produce a new Pridemate token every turn, even! But I agree that...

I am also liking this buddy here: Loving the idea of just spending one mana each turn to mill three cards. In a graveyard-centric cube it can do wonders. I still do not love the cards with prepare, I think that between Omens and Adventures and these it adds a bit too much fatigue. But I am...

Not bad! It is not Dark Confidant, but I think that this is worth it both for powermax cubes (that have Guide of Souls, Ocelot Pride etc) but also for a lifegain archetype in a more lower-power cube, since it doesn't look like it is extremely high powered. This is also not bad! One thing I...

The Griselbrand tool?! What is that? And why don't I know its existence?

I don't know you all, but I am MUCH more hyped for this expansion than for Marvel, Star Trek or the Hobbit. The card itself doesn't seem great (just a random Tinker target that dies to Swords to Plowshares) but I am very curious of the lore behind it: does it mean that Jace changed the world to...

I was looking for fun archetypes and I always loved Madness-style decks. I think that the last five years or so have given us many interesting new cards for this type of deck, so I wanted to revive the topic. Blazing Rootwalla Give me a {0} cost madnesser every day of the year! It is even...

Yeah indeed, you are right :) oh if only they removed the reserved list! Well, I don't want to go too much off-topic! A couple of old-school personal favourites: Paralyze "the black pacifism" Benalish Hero Mesa Pegasus banding is pretty good, at the end of the day I think it is over-hated but...

Do you have any Sliver in your list? Because if the answer is "not", then Plague Sliver is almost functionally identical

I know this is not the goal of this specific Cube, but for your next project of this kind: you should also consider MDFCs. These let you have a "grey zone" between land and non-land. You said in a previous post that currently you have 16 lands per player, but you could consider going even lower...

My main feeling this spoiler season

I see. Then I second Coalition Relic. Or... I don't know your Cube very much, but have you thought about Tablet of Discovery? It maybe does too many things, but a bit of card advantage (good in Control), ramps for instant and sorcery (good in Storm) and works with Welder. Also it is red, like...

Thran Dynamo?

Construct a Cosmic Cube This is what we all are doing

We haven't had such a post for 2025, right? I like them, because I get to read some posts again and laugh again ;)

No, that one works well! I think the only problem is with the clustering. You are right though, probably I can still extrapolate useful information from that

Okay, so, I tried for the Cube they used at the 2007 Invitational: https://cubecobra.com/cube/list/invi07-og?view=Mainboard (so that I am sure the problem is not that my Cubes are so badly done that even cubecobra refuses to touch them) I haven't change anything in the settings, everything...

and is Kiki-Jiki the combo Mirror-Breaker? ;)

I feel very stupid, but... I tried using it, many times, on many cubes, and it always gives me 800 different clusters, each one with exactly one deck. I am not sure about what I am doing wrong...
